TCP/IP Printing

NT has the capability to work with a Line Printer Daemon (LPD). To share a printer to be used as UNIX printers NT must act as an LPD Daemon

Installing TCP/IP Printing

Installation is quite easy, make sure to have TCP/IP fully functioning on your network and add Microsoft TCP/IP Printing under network services.

You can now configure your system to either use an existing LPD server or to become one.
